Riding bicycle on the Xi’an circumvallation in the morning sunshine, I thought most was about the ancient events and war happened around those gates .

Zhuquemen(朱雀门), a gate the place the emperor and people gathered to welcome the shaman Xuanzang(玄奘) while he backed from India for the scriptures. He set off with his strong will power after the emperor appointed .he struggled with the difficulty .he survived every battle with robber ,wildlife, and the worse weather .he reached to India finally after four years long suffering .

he studied hard there for sixteen years and tries his best to understand why there were so many controversial issue in life .he later stayed in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔)and translated those scriptures in nineteen years after his back.

Is these the base clue that we have known about the story and film of the Monkey King (西游记)since we were  little kids? How much fact the writer take from these ?

The next gate I was interested in was the Xuanwu men(玄武门).it was the gate where the military revolution happened in Tang dynasty. Li shi min ,the second child of the emperor Tang Tai Zu and the Queen Dou .He fought againt his elder brother and younger brother for his life and the status of emperor .He became emperor Tang Tai Zong .

what a life it would be while the people have to fight against their family for the life and the position ? it seems it is  happening nowadays in the rich grand family every day in the world for their wealth and seat in the board committee.Does life need goes so far ? in my opinion The Xi’an circumvallation were full of cruel stories in that time.

I saw people playing around joyfully  in the Xi’an circumvallation park outside the the wall .i am sure they are the really winners .the ghost there must admire their life very much .
